An Art Deco champagne bucket on stand, England, mid 20th century
A good quality ice bucket on stand made in England in the first half of the last century.
Its plain looped handles, straight lines and tapered body gives a very strong heart Art Deco feel to the item and fits perfectly into the associated stand. It is a wonderful item as useful today for keeping wine or champagne cool either to the side of a dining table or in any seating area. An extremely elegant and very refined piece of interior design.
Condition: very good, some light scratches. Stand and bucket are a “marriage“ from the same period and were not born together but fit very well. Small dent to the bottom of the champagne bucket. Please refer to photographs
